The eastern side of the village, along Egypt Lane, Dunemere Lane, and the roads toward Two Mile Hollow, is the quieter approach to ocean proximity. This is where you find the smaller village beaches, Egypt and Wiborg, along with the Maidstone Club's grounds and a housing mix of traditional shingle houses, some substantial estates, and a number of properties that trade as summer rentals before they trade as sales. It is a short bike ride to both Main Street and the sand, and it sits closest to the Amagansett line. Recent activity has commonly run from about $4 million to $15 million depending on lot size and distance to the ocean.
