Hayground is the western edge of Bridgehampton, running toward Water Mill and down to Mecox Bay. Hayground Road and the lanes around it have long drawn artists and designers who convert barns into studios, and the area mixes modest older houses with architect-designed contemporary work on larger parcels. Mecox Bay frontage is the prize here, offering dock potential and sunset water views at a lower entry point than ocean frontage, with the ocean still minutes away at Mecox Beach. Recent activity has commonly run from about $2.5 million to $10 million, with bayfront and reserve-front parcels at the top.
