North of the Highway and Sagg Road

North of Montauk Highway the village opens into working agricultural land and the small cluster of enterprises that pass for commerce here. Wolffer Estate Vineyard and the Sagaponack Farm Distillery are both on Sagg Road, Wolffer Estate Stables occupies over a hundred acres, and Poxabogue County Park and Poxabogue Pond sit on the Bridgehampton border. Housing is a mix of farmhouses, converted barns, traditional houses, and newer construction on larger parcels, with vineyard and field views rather than water. This is where Sagaponack is most attainable, and the trade is that you are a drive rather than a walk from the beach.
