The western half of the town is where Hamptons pricing becomes something other than theoretical, and it is worth knowing about even if your search starts further east. Hampton Bays, at the Shinnecock Canal, recorded a median of $885,000 in 2025 on 190 sales, the only market on the East End still below a million, with bay frontage, ocean beaches on Dune Road, and a working marina economy. The Westhampton area, which market reporting treats as including Westhampton Beach, Remsenburg, Quogue, Quiogue, and East Quogue, came in at $1,625,026 on 309 sales, the second highest sales count of any East End market. Quogue and Westhampton Beach are both incorporated villages with their own beaches and governments.
