Southampton Village is immediately west, with the deepest estate inventory in the Hamptons and its own village government, taxes, and beaches. Bridgehampton is immediately east and shares both Mecox Bay and the farm belt with Water Mill, which is why the two are reported together in market data. Sagaponack lies beyond Bridgehampton and is grouped with them in the same reporting. Sag Harbor is about fifteen minutes north across the fork, a harbor village with a walkable Main Street.
